A House Anchored in Hope

Good Morning! God is so good. His love for each one of us is so great. Every day He shows me His love over and over in too many ways to count. Nobody loves me like God does. Nobody loves me like Love. (1 John 4:7,8) Creating a loving place of beauty for my family to call home has always been important to me. Lately my thoughts have become more deeply focused on HOME and what the Creator of home desires of me. Because it talked of building a house the following portion of an article caught my attention this morning. Here's to building our home on The Rock and having it anchored in Hope.

From the loving arms of Home,
Abundantly Blessed

The following excerpt has been taken from the Elijah List website. The article in its entirety may be found at The Elijah List website. It is the prophetic word for March 14, 2017.

"What Are 'Values Anchored Believers?' God Says We Need Them!"
James W. Goll, Franklin, TN
"...Every House Is Built on Something!
Listen to the Words of Jesus as recorded in Matthew 7:24–27 and the companion set of Scriptures in Luke 7:46-49.
"Therefore everyone who hears these Words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. But everyone who hears these Words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."
Jesus made it clear that we must be hearers AND doers of the Word of God. To withstand the winds and the waves that hit every house, family and society, we must be anchored in our values as Believers. (For more on this, see an article I released in February 2016 titled The Original W.W.W. – The Pathway to His Glory.)
Hebrews 6:19 gives us additional insight stating, "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil."  I love the Word of God and how it teaches us so much when we compare one passage with another.
Hope is the positive expectation of good and the anchor to our soul (mind, will and emotions). When we drop the anchor of hope from the ship of our lives through the tumultuous waves of uncertain circumstances, we become immovable because we are connected to the rock of ages below...."
