Seasons With You

Multiple years, multiple blog names, multiple focuses,  more children, many seasons, growth, education, snow, rain, gardens, flowers, food, recipes, creating, adult children, grandchildren, and through it all the Scripture and Jesus, and you dear readers, have travelled with us the entire way through.

As we live our days on this earth, the foundations of our homes and lives need regular inspection and maintenance.  Some seasons of living contain harsh storms and experiences can erode our foundations, if we aren't paying attention and practicing diligence.

The foundations of our soul need regular inspection and maintenance as well.  Our soul's foundations are determined by our thoughts. The thoughts we entertain and allow to remain we will eventually adopt as a script which our mind will replay over and over.  These are the materials in our foundations that  need to be regularly brought into the light and assessed ruthlessly.

While listening to a life coach speak online recently the points she shared brought a number of scriptures to mind.  It was comforting to know that God knows exactly what we need to be healed and live from wholeness.  Not only that, but He will also provide the strategies we need to live wholly when we need them.  Nothing will be able to stop Him from providing for His children, absolutely nothing.

The remaining few days of this workweek I will be learning how to strengthen my life's foundations, make them solid, and build the bold, beautiful life God made me to live.  An online workshop is being offered, and I am showing up in every way I can.  I am coming, and I am gleaning every bit of information, every second of encouragement, and every bit of everything each day's hour has to offer.

Why?  Because I want to live full and free in Jesus every day in every way.  I want to hear well done My good and faithful servant some day.  I want to know that I may not have known what to do or how to do it always, but I always did what I knew to do and did it with all I had to give.

It is a good time to have a good life, and God made us to live from out of His Goodness.  He has also provided people who have walked the hard paths before us to show us how to walk them for ourselves.  Others have made the choices and can teach us how to do so too.  The decision on whether we want to stay where we are or move forward into the life we are created for is ours to make.  I pray we live the lives we are created for, fully and completely.

If you would like to join in on this workshop that teaches us how to do just this, visit:  https://www.ediewadsworthcoaching.com/summer .  The details can be found there.

We've travelled many new seasons together here at Abundance House.  As wonderful as the previous seasons have been, there is a stirring in my heart that says the seasons yet to come will be even better.  We have dreams to live, grandbabies to cuddle, families to love, and homes to create and strengthen.  We are going to experience greatness and glory as never before.  I really believe that we can't even begin to comprehend the Goodness of God that is coming to us in our new seasons.

These pictures make me smile.  I enjoy scrolling through them each summer.  Perhaps they will be a fun reminder of God's loving faithfulness through the years.  Visions of summer's beautiful bounty seem the perfect way to say good-bye for now.

Until our next visit may you rest in the loving presence of God.
