Christmas Organization Tip

Good Morning!

Here is an organizing tip from my favorite Schmid sis-in-law, Jess (she's my only Schmid sis-in-law :)

I read in my organizing book that it is fun to make gifts way ahead of time and have a list and strategy for gift giving so the shopping won't stress us out, and we can enjoy the season for what it truly is.

Thank you for the tip Jessica! You are one of the first ones to send something in! Keep 'em coming. We're ready for whatever you have to send us. Anyone who would like to send in their ideas and tips, please do. The deadlines are being extended. The ideas and tips you send don't have to be anything that you do or have done personally. They can be something that you have read and would like to try. Also, the tips and ideas can cover anything decorating, recipes, organizing, you name it. With the harvest season in full swing and Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, now is the perfect time for all of your autumn ideas. You can email them to me or leave them in the comment section.

As we enjoy this crisp, autumn Monday, let's remind ourselves of the greatest commandment, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Today might be the perfect day to make time to read 1Corinthians 13. If we are able to stop our reading at chapter 13, let's examine our lives and see if we are truly walking in God's love. The scripture tells us that God's love was shed abroad in our hearts at salvation. So, if we are a follower of Christ, His love is in us. It's up to us to manifest it to those around us. Who are we around the most? Our family. Who do we show God's love to the least? Sad to say, too often it may be...our family. So, as we analyze and study the Word today, let's resolve to obey God's Word completely, in every way...even in our family.

I'm hoping to get back sometime later today and visit some more. Until then, enjoy today. This is the day that the Lord has made.
