Experiments - In the Kitchen
Happy Monday!!!
The following recipe fits in perfectly with our summer mission of being intentional and enjoying every bit of each day. It would be perfect for a gathering of friends, family, or turning an every day moment into a special occasion. Can we ever have too many options for iced goodness during summer's hot days?
While working on a new recipe for iced coffee this morning, I had a wild-hare thought: "What would this taste like using tea instead of coffee?" Guess what! It tasted great! Here's the recipe for a tasty new Iced Chai Tea drink using ingredients already in the pantry.
ICED CHAI TEA
*Because I can't stand to leave any of the "goodie" in the jar, after pouring the tea-sugar mixture over the ice, I added the milk to the jar, put the lid on, and gave it a good shaking. THEN I added it to the glass. This scooped up any of the tea/sugar left in the jar.
**A very tiny bit of black pepper will make this recipe resemble a traditional chai flavor even more.
