Something to Go With the Curd

Yesterday there was a bowl of lemons turned into lemon curd, and today there was a lonely package of cream cheese begging to be made into mock devonshire cream. One belongs with the other.

Here is the recipe, just in case there is a lone package of cream cheese in your fridge too. Here's a little secret, both the mock devonshire and the lemon curd are tasty on gingerbread cookies. So if you have any of those leftover from Christmas, you could add a cup of tea and have an instant tea time.

Mock Devonshire Cream

1 pkg. cream cheese softened
1/2 Cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar

Blend the cream cheese and sugar. Fold in sour cream. Store in refrigerator.
