From the Desk of Steve Shultz: I've known Doug Addison for more than 15 years. And this I've learned about him...He's a "strategy guy." That means if you want to know how to get "there from here," and you ask Doug about it, he's going to give you a strategy FROM GOD to accomplish it. And the thing I like about Doug's revelation and his relationship with God is this—they are usually recorded in a very easy to understand set of bullet points, straight from the Throne of God, that are going to "get 'er done!" Read this and do this, and I promise you—PEACE WILL COME INTO YOUR LIFE that was not there before. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.) Enjoy! "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7 ESV) The enemy is trying to bring fear and terror into the world. He's not only doing this through things like the global pandemic, but even through politics and how we interact with one another online and in public. But there is good news in the midst of this! We can do something to break off this spirit of fear and terror and increase your power and peace. Here are three strategies you can use, right now. 3 Strategies You Can Use Right Now 1. Stay on the offense instead of the defense. Remember that you have authority in God! Ask God to remove the attacks of the enemy but be careful not to enter into unnecessary battles. Keep your focus on the Lord and remember that you have the high ground. This will give you that peace that surpasses all understanding. (Photo via Pxfuel) "...The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16 NIV) 2. Our battle is not with other people. It's important not to spend our time blaming others for what's wrong in the world. Sometimes we can even get angry with God. The enemy wants to shift your focus from the real issues by getting you distracted. If you have been angry with God or other people, it may be time to slow down and take a time-out. Ask God to help you focus your eyes back on Him and all the good things He has for you and others..
