The Fire Needs Fed

Sometimes the fire needs wood added at inconvenient times, like the early morning hour of four o'clock. I don't want to get out from under the covers that early, but I do want the fire to continue warming the house. A decision has to be made. I either get out of bed and feed the fire or I stay toasty warm in my own bed while the fire that warms the entire house dies.

Sometimes areas of my life need fed at inconvenient times too. Decisions have to be made. Will I get up and feed those areas or will I stay where I am comfortably secure and allow the fire of life to die?

I think it's time to pick up the wood and feed the fire.
