In the Tears
Some people cry. Others don't. Tears upset a lot of people, but not every person. I grew up with women who cry rather easily. Tears don't bother me; they are a very real part of living. No matter how a person feels about tears, at some point they will cry. Maybe they won't cry a lot or often, but they will cry.
Sometimes people don't cry actual tears. Sometimes the tears fall deep inside where no one other than God sees. Some pains are too deep for physical tears. Some seasons are too sad for words. Sometimes seasons seem to go on and on and on straight down the road of what feels like forever.
In the tears God is there. That's all I know. God is there, and in the tears...that is enough.
If you, or someone you know, is in a season of tears, being there is the greatest gift that can be given. That's why it is enough to know God is there. He is enough, and He is there. An in the flesh person being there is nice too though. Please know that I am praying for everyone who finds themself in a season of tears right now. You aren't alone. God is with you, and so am I.
