Mercy Triumphs Over Judgment

"because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful.  Mercy triumphs over judgment!" NIV
"For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.  Mercy triumphs over judgment." NKJV
"for to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [will be] merciless, but mercy [full of glad confidence] exults victoriously over judgment." AMP
James 2:13
"But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle), [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity), And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God's will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
James 3:17,18 AMP
One of the blogs I receive used these verses in their most recent post, and I've been pondering on them ever since.  The last sentence in James 2:13 says "Mercy triumphs over judgment."  The Amplifed Bible says mercy "exults victoriously over judgment".  Hmmmmm.  I think I need to read through the entire book of James and ponder on what I've read; and then read it all again :)  So much loving instruction is contained in the Word of God!  What a blessing it would be to my family if I were to spend more of my day focusing on the truths in the Word instead of the many distractions surrounding me.  What a blessing it would be to my loved ones if I would allow mercy to triumph over judgment in our home and walk in the wisdom from above.
Can you imagine the atmosphere in a home where family members walked in this wisdom that is peace-loving, courteous(considerate and gentle), willing to yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits, wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and free from doubts, wavering and insincerity?  The presence of Almighty God would be so soothing and calming that those who came into the home would be blessed simply by entering.  Ministry would take place on a daily basis.  Husbands, wives, children, and guests alike would return home at day's end driven by their eager longing to be safely nestled in the loving warmth of such mercy and wisdom.
Heavenly Father I pray in the name of Jesus that this wisdom from above would be walked in within my home.  May I be a mother who works for and makes peace in the home You have assigned me to bless.  May mercy triumph over judgment as I go about each day loving You by loving those around me.  In Jesus' name, Abundantly Blessed--
